School

So I have started a new semester at a new school, which is pretty cool, now I don't have to drive to SLC to go to the LDSBC. After a long fight UVU finally decided to give me instate, which is really good otherwise I would again be driving to SLC to go to school. Today I was an hour early to school and sat in the class before mine and got all ready for class, happy that parking wasn't so bad, until the teacher walked in and I realized that I was in the wrong class and I was an hour early. So I quickly left class and decided it would be a good time to get a parking permit.

I walk to my car and realize how cold it is. (I shaved my head and now realize how warm the hair keeps you.) I grab my temporary registration, (I still haven't received my title from Cali to get Utah plates and now it's too late to get reregistered in Cali without paying a whole bunch of late fees. I have had temp tags since Nov now) and get that all taken care of. I go back to my car and I have a parking ticket, ha, like I am paying that. My plates will be changed soon and they have my Cali plates marked as Utah on the ticket.

Oh and I finally got my concealed carry permit so pretty much where ever I go, mainly school until I get a job, I am packing heat. I have this pretty nice holster for it that makes it so no one can tell. The thing is that it takes about an inch or two out of the waist size so my pants now fit very snug and I have to wear them higher, which can be uncomfortable at times. I got my concealed weapons permit when I found out Obama won. Then 2 weeks later I bought a gun, it seemed so did everyone else as everyone was selling out, especially assault rifles. I guess we'll find out in the next 4 years if we really need an arsenal.

Bahamian adventure

So me and my family are in Florida for new years at universal Orlando and the next day we have a cruise to the bahamas that leaves jacksonville. We leave our hotel and search for a Zaxbys restaurant that was supposed to be a 14 min drive from the apt. Of course we get lost but finally find it and get it to go, so we wouldn't have to worry about being late to the ship. About halfway through the drive my mom realizes that the time we were going to arrive at is the time the ship is leaving port. So my dad is driving 90 in a mini van and my mom is on the phone with the cruise and doing the math it looks like we aren't going to make it. We arrive at the port at 4pm watched the cruise ship start up the motors and the port guard tell us it's too late.

We had missed the cruise. Wow, who does that. So we ended up driving down to miami and we all caught a flight to the bahamas to catch up with the cruise ship, which we did and were happy to finally be on the boat. Even though the cruise for us was cut down to 3 days, it was still worth it. 80 degrees everyday, volley ball, drunk moms, tan bodies and last but defiantly not least, food. Food at all hours, and all you can eat. There is much more but I am getting hungry/bored so if ya wanna know, you'll have to ask.
